Are you looking for more than just a vacation? We invite you to become a co-creator at La Esquinita del BambĂș. We are active members of the WWOOF (Worldwide Opportunities on Organic Farms) and Workaway communities, hosting travelers from all over the world who want to exchange their skills for a deeper understanding of sustainable living.
The Volunteer Lifecycle:
As a volunteer, you will spend approximately 25 hours per week working alongside our community. Tasks vary by season but often include:
- Bamboo and wood craftsmanship: Learning the “harvest-to-structure” process: cutting, non-toxic preservation, and joinery.
- Restoration: Learning how to fix and maintain various structures with different tools and materials.
- Agroforestry & gardening: Planting endangered trees, managing the fruit forest, and organic pest control.
- Animal care: Assisting with the daily needs of our farm animals and pets.
- Art and painting: Helping improve our surroundings with beautiful murals arts and crafts.
