We are working very hard to open an Education Centre here at La Esquinita and start transforming our community, but with no financial support from external organisations, NGO’s or local government, all costs have been privately funded with our own life savings.
We hope to reach out to the global “Bitcoin community” for help to make this dream come true. Your donation or volunteering can make a huge difference to the lives of many people with less opportunities.
You can donate as little or as much as you wish, but we have some package ideas for you depending on what areas you would like us to focus more on.
Education & Empowerment
$25 – The Learner’s Kit:
Provides a set of essential tools for a local youth to participate in our hands-on bamboo construction workshops.
$75 – Knowledge is Power:
Covers the materials and tuition for a full organic farming course for a local farmer looking to transition away from chemicals.
$250 – Sponsor a Community Workshop:
Funds an entire Seed Exchange Event or a natural medicine seminar, kept free and open to the local public.
Reforestation & Ecology
$15 – The Bamboo Shoot:
Covers the cost of propagating and nursing one rare bamboo sapling in our nursery until it is ready for the earth.
$40 – Rare Species Guardian:
Funds the collection and processing of seeds for our Community Seed Bank, securing the future of five endangered native tree species.
$100 – The Future Forest:
Sponsors the planting and first-year maintenance of 10 native trees, directly restoring the mountain ecosystems of Chalatenango.
Health, Art & Culture
$50 – Roots & Remedies:
Supports the maintenance of our medicinal plant garden and the creation of educational guides on traditional herbal healing.
$150 – Artist-in-Residence Patron:
Directly funds the materials for a visiting artist to create a piece for our Folklore Sculpture Park, celebrating Salvadoran identity.
$500 – Learning Hub Partner:
Your name (or company) will be engraved on a custom plaque at our centre, honouring your support for our permanent local education team.
